PRODUCT INTAKE
& PACKAGING GUIDELINES
Important Deadlines:
Product intake 5/13/24 - 5/23/24 at the House of Hash.
You must complete the Document Upload Form and Product Intake Form before or at the time of drop-off.
You are a Judge! All Competitors receive a Judge Kit, available for pick-up starting 6/1/24.
Packaging Materials :
Competitors must use the provided packaging materials. DO NOT adhere any company/brand stickers to the provided packaging materials, they must be returned blank. Materials are available for pick-up starting 5/1/24 at the House of Hash.
You will receive x94 Calyx Jars, the exact number needed for entry submission. You will have an excess of lids. Should you need additional supplies to complete the x94 unit sample entry do not hesitate to ask.
Please return your Entries in the provided bins with your Calyx jars in their trays.
**DO NOT remove FEP Liner on the lid interior. This anti-stick liner aids in maintaining product freshness. Your entry will not be accepted if the FEP Liner has been removed**

Your packaging materials will have two unique lids to identify your 1g samples.DO NOT use any unique identifiers in the entry samples themselves (see examples below).
Entries are to be returned to the House of Hash for Product Intake no later than 5/23/24, and will be kept in cold storage unless otherwise specified on the Product Intake Form until Judge Kit pick-up. Competitors are also Judges and will have their own Judge’s Kit for scoring beginning 6/1/24.
While we understand the importance of presentation, we ask competitors to refrain from adding any unique identifiers to the samples during the packaging process. This may include but is not limited to; odd or abstract shapes, a pressed stamp/design, scraped against the jar wall, etc. Should a competitor fail to meet these requirements they may be asked to resubmit their entry.

Entry Inspection: Competition Grade Hash™:
As Maine’s Premier Hash Competition, it is our responsibility to only accept the best of the best. That said, this year we will be inspecting all entries during Product Intake. If your entry does not meet our Competition Grade Hash™ standards we will respectfully give your spot to an Alternate Competitor.
If for any reason you are worried that your entry will not meet the standards set in place, you may schedule a private consultation before the product intake window on 5/13/24 - 5/25/24.
